To make this dish, start by heating a large pot of salted water. While you wait for the water to boil, finely mince two cloves of garlic and half a chili pepper. Once the water starts boiling, add the linguine and let it cook until it reaches al dente. Once the linguine is cooked, transfer it to a bowl and set aside. In a separate pan, add a few tablespoons of olive oil and let it heat through. Add the minced garlic and chili pepper. Cook until it begins to get fragrant. Add the linguine to the pan and squeeze half of the lemon over the dish. Top with freshly chopped basil leaves and stir everything together. Add freshly cracked black pepper and salt to taste. Serve the linguine with a few slices of freshly squeezed lemon, a sprinkle of chili flakes, and some freshly chopped basil. Enjoy!
