Isabella's Linguine with Lemon, Chili Flakes, and Basil
This delicious Italian dish combines the richness of linguine with the zestiness of lemon, the warmth of chili flakes, and the freshness of basil.

Ingredients
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 chili pepper
- 400g linguine
- Olive oil
- 1 lemon
- Basil leaves
- Salt
- Black pepper
Instructions

Heat a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Add in the linguine and cook until al dente.

In a separate pan, heat some olive oil and add the minced garlic and chili pepper. Cook until fragrant.

Add the linguine to the pan with the garlic and chili pepper. Squeeze in half of the lemon and top with freshly chopped basil leaves. Stir everything together.

Add freshly cracked black pepper and salt to taste. Serve with a few slices of freshly squeezed lemon, a sprinkle of chili flakes, and some freshly chopped basil
Chef's Tip
For an extra zing, you can add a few drops of white wine before adding the basil leaves.

Linguine means little tongues in Italian, referring to the long and thin shape of the pasta.
