Tamagoyaki is created through the skillful art of rolling multiple thin omelettes over one another, creating thin and flavorful layers. Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp. dashi
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped vegetables (onion, carrots, etc.)

    Beat the eggs in a bowl.

    Add the dashi, sugar, and salt, and stir until combined.
